Things were done today. Mostly screen things; I spent a good four hours today in the lab, and managed to get 6/8 layers printed on the first piece of the triptych. The other two pieces will only have about four layers each, however, and are rather smaller, so this basically puts me on track to be done for Wednesday. Very good. Unfortunately it also confirmed what I had already suspected-- namely that it doesn't matter how perfect your stencils line up before hand; if you drew them by hand they will never match up in the final piece. Needless to say, a bunch of touch-ups will be needed. I also may end up doing some colored pencil over the final screenprint because I'm just not getting the depth I wanted.

Also managed to get the first of our greenhouse studies scanned. Yay for plants.


Now, for dinner and then possibly more homework of the drawing sort.
