flameravenThere hasn't been much of interest happening lately (hence my lack of posts); classes continue on, and continue to be pretty much review.
But I have been going out walking (well, biking, but whatever) now and then, trying to see more of the city. And yesterday, I happened to get home at just the right time, when the sun was starting to set, and the fields were so pretty, so I ran out and took some pictures.
There are a bunch of fields out behind our apartment building. Most of the rice is only just being planted (with teeny little sprouts poking up out of the water), but a few have plants that are just about full-grown...
Then I headed around to the abandoned shrine behind the apartments. It was less abandoned this time, as there was a mom and her kid at the playground there, but I came in through the back so they didn't really see me.
It was only a small outing, really, but it was still a lot of fun.
