In case you haven't heard, LJ has introduced a new feature allowing you to post comments from Facebook or Twitter accounts, and re-post comments from LJ onto Facebook or Twitter. The problem is that Facebook posts not just the comment, but also the commenter's LJ icon, real name, and also the original poster's URL. You can tell LJ that you don't want to crosspost your own comments, but others can still cross-post their comments, even if it's a filtered post.
Can you say privacy fail? Yeah.

Fortunately, someone has figured out a CSS code to put in your journal that will prevent the 'crosspost' option from even showing up. Instructions on how to do that here: http://unmutual.livejournal.com/567986.html
We now return you to your regularly scheduled Internet.
